How To Use Yealink VoIP Phones
Making Calls
- Pickup the hand piece
- Dial a number
- Or dial a number and press speaker icon to be on a handsfree mode
Answering Calls
- Lift hand piece or press speaker to receive incoming calls.
Muting Calls
- Press mute button to mute calls during conversation.
- Press mute button again to return to existing conversation.
Putting a Call on Hold
- To put a call on hold, press the Hold button.
- To resume with call, press Resume or Hold button if only one call is on hold.
Transferring Calls
- Press the Tran button then the extension number
Activating Call Forwarding
- Dial *21* then the phone/mobile number followed by # (e.g. *21*0419855000#)
- Then pickup the handset
Deactivating Call Forwarding
- Dial *21*
- Then pickup handset and you should hear “Call forwarding deactivated”
How to Initiate a Conference Call
- Dial the number of the 1st person
- Put them on hold by pressing the Hold button
- Dial the number of the 2nd person then press the Conf button
Recording Extension Greetings
- Press *60*
- Enter password e.g. extension number eg: 501, 502, etc
- Follow the prompt to record personal messages on individual phones
